Will I lose my medical license if I was arrested for a DUI?

Disciplinary action against your license always depends on the facts. For example, there's a big difference between being arrested for a DUI after a routine traffic stop and being arrested for a DUI after you have knocked somebody off a bicycle or cost an eight car pile up. In any event, you can't lose your medical license permanently just because you were arrested. You can be temporarily suspended, but permanent revocation of your license is based on the seriousness of the offense and whether you were found guilty or convicted of the offense.
