David Mann, a fourth-generation Floridian and Jacksonville native, is an associate attorney who has been with the firm since 2014.
Prior to attending law school, David received a B.A. in Linguistics from the University of Florida and a B.S. in Computer and Information Sciences from the University of North Florida. In 2011, he graduated Florida Coastal School of Law in the top 2% of his class with an International and Comparative Law Certificate. He was a member of the Florida Coastal Law Review and received the Best Research and Writing Editor for 2010-11. David’s degree in computer sciences positions him as the firm’s top resource in statistical analysis. He creates and analyzes the spreadsheets required to evaluate health care investigations and Medicare and Medicaid audits. In addition to practicing law, David also teaches as an adjunct instructor of English for Speakers of Other Languages at Florida State College at Jacksonville. He has previously taught for both the English Language Program at the University of North Florida and the English Language Institute at Florida State College at Jacksonville. He decided to study law to help the same community of immigrants and refugees as an attorney that he serves as an English language instructor, and he first practiced immigration law upon graduating from law school.
David enjoys spending his time with his wife, Thi, and his daughter, Lucy. During the 2020-21 academic year, he has facilitated Lucy’s virtual schooling while working from home. He also enjoys playing strategy board games with friends and reading nonfiction books on history, language, politics, and science.
