Who is on the hearing panel at a medical staff hearing?

The hearing panel in a medical staff hearing is composed of physicians from your medical staff. Sometimes there's a panel of three. Sometimes there's a panel of five. They can't be direct economic competitors, so for example, if there are two neurology practices in town and you operate one of them, your direct competitor cannot be on the medical staff panel that decides your case.
